Kirsten Griffith is a freelance writer who recently moved from the East Coast to San Francisco. She's like a kid in a candy shop in this city packed with bookstores, shops full of curios, and coffeehouses, and can nearly always be found in one of the above with a notebook in hand.
She lives with her partner in the Richmond district, manages a retail store in SOMA, and spends too much of her time trying to figure out which way to go to get to the ocean, now that it's on the wrong side.
